In order to be organised throughout the project, I created a work management timeline which will help me set targets for each task in a time orderly manner.

Before we broke up for summer, I was lucky enough to take a trip to The Netherlands, where we learnt how to 3D model using the software Blender. We were given an ‘Everyday Urban’ brief, whereby we were to create a variety of assets that would go into an asset pack.

This gave me an idea to expand my skills and knowledge for my third year project. My original idea was to create a virtual environment, that has all been 3D modelled and texture painted, then put into unreal engine so an avatar come roam about the environment and interact.

However, over the summer I worked with a few clients in design, creating logos and advertisements. Therefore, I decided i wanted to change my project to incorporate design, as this would help me in my post-graduate procedures.

Collaborating 3D modelling with graphic design was the way forward, however, I still wanted to incorporate a more challenging aspect to my project, which would be using new software to enhance my skills.
